Jack Grealish Saudi Transfer: Al-Hilal Eye Man City Star 2026

Jack Grealish is the subject of a stunning football transfer rumour linking him with a move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, as Manchester City prepare for life without the England winger. The 28-year-old was left out of City's pre-season tour squad, sparking speculation that his time at the Etihad may be coming to an end.

Why Al-Hilal Want Jack Grealish

Al-Hilal, one of the most successful clubs in Asia, have the financial muscle to meet City's valuation and offer Grealish a lucrative contract. The Saudi Pro League has become a major destination for top European talent, and adding a player of Grealish's profile would be a statement signing.

With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar already in the league, Al-Hilal are eager to bolster their attacking options. Grealish's creativity, dribbling, and ability to draw fouls make him an attractive target for coach Jorge Jesus.

Manchester City's Stance

City manager Pep Guardiola has not publicly commented on Grealish's future, but the decision to leave him out of the Asia tour suggests a shift in priorities. The club are reportedly open to selling if the right offer comes in, especially given the need to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Grealish, who joined City from Aston Villa for a then-British record £100m in 2021, has won multiple trophies including the treble in 2023. However, his playing time has been reduced following the emergence of Jeremy Doku and the consistent form of Phil Foden.

Other Transfer Rumours in the Article

The article also mentions other potential moves, including Brazilian teenager Rayan, who has impressed at Bournemouth and is wanted by Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Crystal Palace are looking at Augsburg's Chrislain Matsima, while Inter Milan are eyeing Liverpool's Curtis Jones.

These rumours highlight the dynamic nature of the summer transfer window, with clubs across Europe and the Middle East jostling for talent.

Comparison: Grealish vs. Al-Hilal's Current Wingers

While Grealish's goal output has dipped, his creative numbers remain strong. Al-Hilal would be getting a proven winner with experience in the Premier League and Champions League. The background to this story is set out in Jack Grealish Dropped by Everton for Breach of Club Discipline.
