SALVATERRAZZA® ECO: Water-Based Anti-Infiltration Protector by FILA Solutio 2026

SALVATERRAZZA® ECO is the water-based anti-infiltration protector from FILA Solutions, designed with environmental sustainability in mind without sacrificing quality. A major step forward has been made with the introduction of SALVATERRAZZA® ECO, which revolutionizes the world of products dedicated to surface protection and care. As the name suggests, it is a more sustainable version of FILA's historic solvent-based protector: the iconic SALVATERRAZZA® that, over the years, thanks to its high-performance characteristics and ease of use, has been appreciated by customers worldwide, becoming one of the company's flagship products.

As a single product, SALVATERRAZZA has helped extend the life of 24 million square meters of materials, including cracked ones, that would otherwise have ended up in landfills, also reducing CO2 emissions. The transition from a solvent base to a water base represents the evolution that FILA strongly desired, without giving up a series of important technical improvements. Among these, walkability time goes from 8 hours for the solvent version to 4 hours for the water-based version. The formula does not alter the aesthetic appearance of the surface and offers protection that is 'invisible,' enveloping and penetrating the material. What remains unchanged is the water-repellent effect. The product protects cracks and fissures in floors and coverings up to 1 mm, eliminating the problem of water infiltration that causes further damage to the structure and underlying environments.

Features and Benefits of SALVATERRAZZA® ECO

The features and benefits of SALVATERRAZZA® ECO, formulated colorless and odorless, are numerous: it penetrates deeply, mineralizes and consolidates the material, prevents water infiltration that could cause structural damage to the surface, does not create surface films, and is breathable. It is a VOC-free product with low environmental impact. With a composition based on mineralizing microcrystals of functionalized silicon and silicates, it can be used on various types of materials, such as porcelain stoneware, marble, stone, agglomerates, cement, tuff, terracotta, and clinker.

Indoor Air Comfort Gold Certification

SALVATERRAZZA® ECO has obtained the Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification, an important tool that guarantees low VOC emissions in products. This makes it ideal for use in indoor spaces where air quality is a priority, such as homes, offices, and commercial areas. For those looking to improve their home improvement projects, this protector is an excellent choice.
