Asus ROG Strix G16 Gaming Laptop: 32GB RAM, RTX 5060 Deal 2026

The Asus ROG Strix G16 gaming laptop with 32GB RAM and an RTX 5060 graphics card is now available at a competitive price of €1,519, marking its best price during 2026. This offer comes at a time when component prices for RAM, storage, and GPUs are high, making it a noteworthy deal for gamers seeking a powerful machine without breaking the bank.

In this article, we'll dive into the specifics of this laptop, why it stands out in the current market, and what you should consider before making a purchase. Whether you're upgrading from an older model or buying your first gaming laptop, this analysis will help you make an informed decision.

Why This Asus ROG Strix Deal Matters in 2026

The prices of memory, storage, and graphics cards have been on the rise, making it challenging to find a complete gaming PC at a reasonable price. However, the Asus ROG Strix G16 at €1,519 offers a compelling option. It's worth noting that this laptop has been cheaper before—specifically at €1,360—but not during this year. Given the current component pricing, this deal represents a good buying opportunity, as the price has barely dropped below €1,600 in recent months.

For gamers looking to maximize value, this laptop provides a balanced mix of performance and cost. It's particularly appealing for those who want to play modern titles at 1080p without worrying about future-proofing for the next few years.

Key Specifications of the Asus ROG Strix G16

Let's break down the hardware that makes this laptop a strong contender in the mid-to-high-end gaming segment.

• Processor: Intel Core i7-14650HX – a high-performance CPU from Intel's 14th generation, ideal for gaming and multitasking.
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR6 – a latest-generation GPU that supports DLSS 5 for enhanced visual fidelity and performance.
• Memory: 32GB DDR5 RAM – plenty for demanding games and heavy multitasking.
• Storage: 1TB SSD – fast load times and ample space for a large game library.
• Display: 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) with a 165Hz refresh rate – smooth and sharp visuals for fast-paced gaming.
• Operating System: None included – you'll need to install your own OS, which can save on cost if you already have a license.

These specs position the ROG Strix G16 as a capable machine for 1080p gaming at high settings, and even some 1440p gaming depending on the title.

Performance and Gaming Capabilities

The combination of the Intel Core i7-14650HX and RTX 5060 ensures smooth performance in most modern games. The RTX 5060, being part of NVIDIA's latest lineup, supports DLSS 5, which uses AI to upscale images and boost frame rates without sacrificing visual quality. This means you can enjoy games at 1080p with high settings and ray tracing enabled, and still achieve playable frame rates.

With 32GB of DDR5 RAM, this laptop can handle multitasking with ease—whether you're gaming, streaming, or running background applications. The 1TB SSD provides fast storage, reducing load times and allowing you to keep multiple games installed simultaneously.

What to Watch Out For

While the deal is attractive, consider a few things. First, the lack of an OS means additional cost if you don't have a license. Second, the RTX 5060, while capable, is a mid-range GPU; for 1440p or 4K gaming, you might want a higher-tier card. Finally, check for any potential sales or promotions that could bring the price even lower, though given the trend, this is unlikely in the near term.
