DAZN Go vs Movistar Plus: Which Football Streaming Service Wins 2026

DAZN Go has arrived in Spain as a budget-friendly football streaming option, starting at just €4.99 per month. But how does it compare to Movistar Plus, the established player with its Plan Libre including sports at €9.99? We put them head-to-head to help you decide which service deserves your money.

What DAZN Go Offers for Football Fans

DAZN Go's main draw is its football coverage, and it's not limited to a single competition. Subscribers get access to a wide range of matches every week, making it a strong choice for fans who follow multiple leagues.

The service also includes other sports: NBA and Liga Endesa basketball (two games per round plus playoffs and Copa del Rey), one NFL game per week, and motorsport coverage including F1 and MotoGP practice, qualifying, sprint races, and at least one full Grand Prix each month. NASCAR and WorldSBK are available in full.

Pricing: DAZN Go vs Movistar Plus

DAZN Go costs €4.99 per month, or you can pay €54.99 for a full year. There's also a 12-month commitment option. Movistar Plus's Plan Libre with sports is €9.99 per month, double the price of DAZN Go.

But price alone doesn't tell the whole story. Movistar Plus offers a broader entertainment package with movies and series, while DAZN Go focuses purely on sports. Your choice depends on whether you want a dedicated sports service or a more comprehensive entertainment bundle.

Key Takeaways

• DAZN Go is half the price of Movistar Plus's sports plan.
• DAZN Go offers extensive football coverage across multiple competitions.
• DAZN Go includes NBA, NFL, F1, and MotoGP, among others.
• Movistar Plus provides a broader entertainment package with movies and series.
• Your choice depends on whether you prioritize sports or overall entertainment.

Football Coverage: Which Service Delivers More?

DAZN Go shines with its football offerings, providing a packed schedule of matches from various leagues. While the exact competitions aren't listed in the source, the service promises a "good bunch of matches" each week.

Movistar Plus's football coverage isn't detailed in the comparison, but it traditionally includes major leagues like La Liga and Champions League. However, the Plan Libre with sports may not include as many competitions as DAZN Go.

Beyond Football: Other Sports and Entertainment

DAZN Go isn't just about football. With NBA, NFL, F1, and MotoGP coverage, it's a solid all-round sports service. Movistar Plus, on the other hand, offers a full entertainment package with movies and series, making it a better choice for households that want more than sports. The longer history behind the story is traced in Sports Betting's Infinite Growth: The Rise of Synthetic Matches.

If you're a sports fanatic who wants maximum coverage for minimal cost, DAZN Go is the clear winner. But if you want a one-stop shop for all your viewing needs, Movistar Plus might justify its higher price.
